Sturgeon Falls KOA rebrands

There’s a name change at the Sturgeon Falls KOA, not with the family, but with the branding.

Greg and Gina Demers still own the local campground but it will now be known as Sturgeon Falls KOA Holiday.

The name is one of three brands Kampgrounds of America has created for its 500 plus sites across North America.

Greg Demers says when the different brands were created the family knew right away it wanted to be a KOA Holiday in an effort to meet people’s needs.

The Demers have added deluxe tent sites for 10 by 15 feet tents on decks that are 24 by 12 feet in size.

The facility is also equipped with up to 50 amp service for RVs.

Just recently the local campground won the KOA Founder’s and President’s Awards for getting world-class service scores.

The Sturgeon Falls KOA Holiday opens for the season on May 12th.
