It’s a happy ending for a Verner woman who had her expensive prescription sunglasses stolen from her vehicle.
Thieves got into the vehicle last weekend and made off with several items including the blue-framed eyewear.
West Nipissing Police told the Moose they fully expected the thieves to throw the glasses away once they realized the item was worthless to them.
If this happened, police asked the public to call them if the glasses were found.
It appears that’s exactly what happened because a Moose listener who heard the original story called police after finding the sunglasses.
