A North Bay property owner can make his case before council next Monday for why his semi-detached home should accommodate six bedrooms. Eduardo Barron’s application for six bedrooms was denied by staff. The main reason is the home at 22 Paul Street was originally built as a three bedroom home. But over the years different owners added to the house without getting permits. Barron says it was a six bedroom home when he bought it a few years ago and he wants to make it illegal. Some councillors are siding with Barron and the issue comes up for a full debate next week.
