March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. And the Northeast Cancer Centre in Sudbury is urging men and women to get a colon cancer take-home test. Colon cancer is very treatable when detected early. Last year more than 10,400 Ontario men and women came down with colon cancer and about 3,250 of them died. When colon cancer is caught early enough, nine out of 10 people can be cured.
