Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre says a key to creating more jobs is to improve broadband in the north. Serre says the federal government has been paying attention to broadband technology but adds more needs to be done. The Liberal MP says last week’s federal budget addresses this by committing more money to broadband. Serre says a better broadband system can attract more businesses and that means more jobs including positions for young people. Serre says if more jobs can be created for young people, it stems the out-migration of youth a bit.
