It was the right place at the right time for an officer with the Markstay-Warren OPP who caught a speedy driver. Police stopped a man after he passed several vehicles at one time on Highway 17 Sunday afternoon including an OPP cruiser. OPP say the man was passing at a high rate of speed and was also too close to the vehicles ahead of him. The 50-year-old, who is from Sudbury, is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
