Club Alidor in St. Charles is getting $25,000 to renovate and improve the seniors’ facility. Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre announced the funding. The club has been a gathering place for seniors for years and engages them in various activities. It also provides weekly lunches. Part of the renovations include installing a roof waterproofing system. The president of Club Alidor says the current building needs the renovations because of its age. Francine Bidal says once the work is done, Club Alidor will become safer and more accessible.
