Councillor Yvon Duhaime is again bringing forward the concerns of citizens in Ward 3.
Six years ago, a petition submitted to Council asked for a 4-way stop at Holditch and John. That request was denied, and Duhaime, hearing from the residents in his ward again, submitted the petition. Again.
Duhaime submitted the petition February 13th, but the clerk says that it is the exact same petition, with the same signatures from 2012.
The four-way stop was voted down in 2012, and it was recommended by staff that a hidden intersection sign and a pedestrian sign be added instead.
Council will discuss at tonight’s meeting.
