The West Nipissing group that helps beautify the community needs about $2,500 from council to continue with its work. The volunteers buy things like flowers they place in different parts of the municipality. Their request comes just as council is getting ready to debate what to put in or remove from this year’s budget. Council will gather in the council chambers for an 8:30am meeting Saturday that the public can also attend. The meeting will also be live-streamed.
