Residents of the Clear Lake Cottagers’ Association in West Nipissing are frustrated over illegal dumping. The association says junk, including old furniture is being discarded on dead-end streets in their area. The association believes if the municipality increased the fine for illegal dumping, it might deter the activity. Also, catching someone in the act would go a long way to serving as a lesson to others.
