Vic Fedeli has been named interim leader of the Progressive Conservative party. The development follows a morning caucus meeting in Toronto with his fellow MPPs. Fedeli replaces Patrick Brown who stepped down as leader early Thursday morning following allegations of sexual misconduct. Early Thursday afternoon Fedeli told North Bay media that he would let his name stand for the interim leadership. Fedeli ran for the P.C. leadership in 2015 but withdrew before the vote which saw Brown, a former federal MP, become leader.
