When the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo arrives in Verner next year, it’s not just farming related activities people will see. IPM spokeswoman Catherine Levac-Lafond says vendors will also be on hand. Levac-Lafond says not only will there be a large number of vendors, but what they’ll sell will also be diverse. She says the public can expect about 600 vendors selling things as diverse as candles in one stand and tractors at the booth next door. Vendors can start booking a spot for the IPM now by calling 753-6958. Past IPM’s have generated $20-million in economic activity and attract 80,000 people from around the world. The IPM takes place in West Nipissing from September 17th to the 21st. People who want to volunteer can call 753-6958.
