When it comes to telling the Trillium Gift of Life Network there’s a potential organ or tissue donation available, the West Nipissing General Hospital gets top marks. The hospital was one of 11 health care facilities province-wide to score 100 percent on what’s called the routine notification rate. It means that in the case of the West Nipissing hospital, it called the life network each time it had a potential organ donation or tissue available. The achievement was registered during the second quarter last year from July to September.
