The West Nipissing committee has gotten down to work preparing for next year’s International Plowing Match and Rural Expo. Lead coordinator Catherine Levac-Lafond says one of the first big projects the committee is organizing is the release of this spring’s cookbook. Levac-Lafond says there are different ways for residents to get their recipes to the committee. One is to visit the municipality’s website and the other is to pick up a form at a West Nipissing business. The deadline to submit a recipe is the end of the month. The IPM uses the cookbooks as a fundraiser, and remember, the recipes have to include local ingredients.
