West Nipissing Police are investigating several thefts across the region. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says three of the thefts involve people removing large items from vehicles. St. Pierre says one of the vehicles was a commercial vehicle in Crystal Falls which had its tools in a storage compartment stolen. Another business vehicle on Leduc Road was relieved of electrical equipment, a heater and several tools. And a commercial vehicle parked on Front Street had an air pump, wrenches, anti-freeze and a hitch stolen. Police are also looking into wallets being taken from vehicles in Sturgeon Falls
