West Nipissing Police have laid charges in a child abandonment case. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the matter began with a couple checking into a motel in Sturgeon Falls with a child. However St. Pierre says police then got a call that not everyone left together. In fact the couple left behind in the room. Police found the couple who are now charged with child abandonment.
