A trip by Grade 11 and 12 students from Northern Secondary School in Sturgeon Falls to the Honda manufacturing plant in Alliston has paid off big time. The manufacturer has given the school a new Honda Civic. The technology design students visited the plant to learn about robotics. Northern says the students saw a vehicle being built on the assembly line and then saw the finished product delivered to their school. In addition to the car, the school was also given two 4-cylinder turbo charged engine transmission assemblies the students can learn from. The school and the Near North District School Board say they are extremely grateful for Honda’s donation.
