The countdown has started for West Nipissing to host the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo next year. Local organizers have officially opened the IPM office in Verner where workers will coordinate and organize the event. Mayor Joanne Savage says because the IPM attracts thousands of people, the economic impact to the region will be huge. In addition, the IPM will help increase networking capabilities locally and beyond.
