West Nipissing council says it looks like the municipality will face a $3,500 shortfall in connection with last year’s Lavigne Music Festival. The municipality loaned the festival group nine thousand dollars to help it secure entertainers for the event. And although it will be short 35-hundred dollars, West Nipissing is still waiting for the festival group to return the remaining money from the loan.
