The hope is for a big turnout this Friday in Field to help a family that lost all their belongings in a house fire last week. Craig Carswell, Jessica Dumont and their two young children weren’t hurt because the family escaped in time. However they lost some of their pets in addition to their belongings. The benefit supper to help the family over Christmas takes place at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Field. It runs from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and spaghetti is being served. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. A Go Fund Me campaign has also been created to help the family.
