It’s not a positive result for high schools in Sturgeon Falls as ranked by the Fraser Institute. Out of 740 secondary schools, E. S. Northern is ranked 723rd. Northern does a little better coming in at 710th spot. Franco Cite has the best rating among local high schools at 420th, but still falls in the lower half of all schools ranked. The Institute bases its rating on public data like province-wide testing. Among elementary schools, nearly 3,100 were ranked in Ontario and Resurrection rated best locally at 1,900 and 62nd. St. Joseph was 53 spots behind Resurrection before a huge drop puts Jeunesse Active, Our Lady of Sorrows and White Woods only 200 to 300 places from the bottom.
