The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program in West Nipissing has a major shot in the arm thanks to the residents and partnership donations. A total of $8,600 was raised and Canadian Tire owner Pierre Marchand says the money comes in handy because it will help kids in need who want to be involved in sports but can’t otherwise afford the expense. The money was raised during the Parade of Lights with help from various sectors including the police, the public, as well as the local and corporate divisions of Canadian Tire.
