Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson has introduced his motion to regulate gas prices across Ontario which includes West Nipissing. But in doing so, he also took a swipe at Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault, a former federal New Democrat. Bisson says before Thibeault jumped to the provincial Liberals, he fully supported regulating gas prices. Bisson says Thibeault even started a website in 2014 where voters could complain about gas prices. Since joining the Liberals and becoming energy minister, Bisson says now Thibeault claims regulated gas prices will hurt consumers.
