A 49-year-old Field woman is looking at a couple of charges. West Nipissing Police were on regular patrol when they saw a large gathering of people at a local bar and decided to investigate. They walked up to one person who appeared intoxicated and arrested her. However Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the woman hit an officer on the face during the arrest. The woman is charged with being intoxicated in public and assault.
