Charge laid after logs removed from dam

OPP have charged a South River man after someone damaged the South River Dam.  Police say logs were removed from the dam on two occasions – the first time the middle of June and then again this past Sunday.  It seems the logs were removed to change the water flow over the dam.  The 57-year-old man is charged with mischief.  And he’s also charged with altering, improving or repairing a dam without government approval under the Lakes and River Improvement Act.
