Fedeli: Ring of Fire delays hurting North Bay mining sector

Delays in getting the Ring of Fire off the ground are hurting North Bay.  That’s according to Vic Fedeli, the Tory MPP for Nipissing.  North Bay doesn’t have any mines, but it is home to many mining supply firms.  North Bay was a major supplier for exploration firms at the chromite site, but Fedeli says Liberal delays to advance the project have changed that.  As an example he cites 12 companies that make the drill rods and bits the exploration firms need at the James Bay site for the next stage but they’re mostly idle now.  Fedeli says one delay is the Development Corporation designed to move the Ring of Fire forward still hasn’t been formed.
