Volunteer firefighters in West Nipissing hope to deliver 200 baskets of food and toys to under privileged families in the municipality over Christmas. That’s what they were able to deliver last year thanks to proceeds from the Santa Fund Telethon and it’s the same goal this year. This year’s telethon is this Sunday. It takes place at the West Nipissing Community and Recreation Centre from 4:00pm to 11:00pm. Admission to the centre is a cash donation and pledges can be made by calling 580-0707.
