The timeline is now set for how the rest of the OPP costing process unfolds in West Nipissing. It starts this evening when council hears what it would cost to replace the municipal police with the OPP. After the presentation, council goes through a question and answer stage. That’s followed by a public forum on November 22nd where residents hear what replacement costs would be and they also can ask questions. That forum is at the Marcel Noel Hall from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Council will debate the pros and cons of the OPP proposal at its December 5th meeting and is also expected to vote on it at that time.
