The Big Nickel in Sudbury turns 50 on July 22nd. To celebrate, Dynamic Earth is putting on a slew of events. They include artifacts from Ripley’s Believe It or Not and one attraction is a world record attempt at stacking the most coins in 30 seconds. Staying with the coin theme, a group will try to create the world’s largest coin mosaic. Other activities involve face painting, gold panning and depending on the weather, there’s a fireworks show in the evening.
