Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government has helped 116 Ontario communities with drinking water and waste water treatment. Trudeau was responding to a question from Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre on what the feds have done so far to ensure reliable access to these services. Serre a reliable service to drinking water and waste water is essential to First Nation communities and non-Indigenous communities. Trudeau agrees and calls the state of affairs for First Nations unacceptable. Trudeau says overall, the federal government has funded 235 projects.
