Fire Station 1-B in Sturgeon Falls should be a sea of pink this evening. That’s where the annual group picture takes place of all the people who bought pink T-shirts this year to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Mayor Joanne Savage is hoping for a big turnout so the West Nipissing Volunteer Firefighters are recognized for their work on the campaign. During the photo-op, the firefighters will also give the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation a cheque showing how much money this year’s campaign raised. It all happens at 6:00pm at the fire station’s Cache Bay Road site.
