Police Chief encourages public to use Vulnerable Persons Registry

West Nipissing Police Chief Chuck Seguin is reminding residents of a valuable tool on the department’s website.   It’s the Vulnerable Persons Registry where you can let police know beforehand about conditions, habits and descriptions of loved ones.  This way if a person goes missing, police already have information that could make it easier and faster to find them.  Seguin says the database is secure and has been in place since January.  To put information on the registry, go to www.wnps.ca and under the Services menu hit the Vulnerable Persons Registration button.
