Northern Ontario Party leader, Trevor Holliday, says southern politicians won’t admit they have no clue how to manage wildlife in the north. Holliday says there’s something wrong when a Southern Ontario minister blames the north’s declining moose and rabbit population on global warming instead of looking for the real cause. Holliday says that’s why the NOP wants the creation of two ministries to look after natural resources as well as fish and wildlife. He says the ministries would be operated and controlled by northerners because they’re the best qualified to oversee these resources.
