Next week on Thursday an employee at Sainte-Marguerite-d’Youville in Verner will receive a special distinction. The employee has been singled out as one of two Franco Nord employees who are making a difference in Francophone Catholic education. The Verner event takes place in the gym’s school at 2:00pm. All this month, a province-wide tour has been recognizing exceptional people as Ontario celebrates 20 years of Francophone Catholic education. Although the tour makes its Verner appearance on Thursday, it’s in North Bay the day before at the Franco Nord board office making an award.
