October 26th has been set aside for the big picture date in West Nipissing to acknowledge another Pink Shirt campaign. People who bought the Pink Shirts this year will meet at Fire Station 1B on Cache Bay in Sturgeon Falls for the photo session. On that same day, we’ll get the cheque presentation on how much money was raised by volunteer firefighters selling the shirts. This year’s money goes to the West Nipissing General Hospital Equipment Fund. There are two Pink Shirt Fridays left in the month where people are asked to wear pink as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
