A hat-trick on Friday by Nathaniel McLeod and a 4 point game by Nicolas Proulx on Sunday helped propel the West Nipissing Lynx to 2 wins over the weekend starting with a 4-2 defeat of South Muskoka at the Sturgeon Falls Arena on Friday. McLeod, from Garden Village added 3 points on Sunday to give him 10 points in the 5 games since re-joining the Lynx. Proulx from Sturgeon Falls is just behind another local product Thomas Farrell (from Field) for 2nd in team scoring. Farrell had 2 goals in the 7-2 win over Seguin.

The Lynx have only 1 game this week as they travel to Meaford Thursday night.
