The West Nipissing Scouts might be able to upgrade their site, but they need help from residents of West Nipissing. The local group is one of many insurance company Aviva has identified that could be one of several winners in its annual community fund contest. Aviva will be awarding more than $1-million with $100,000 going to the grand prize winner. The West Nipissing Scouts need enough online votes to advance to the next stage where the number of competitors is reduced to 35 finalists. First round voting is open now and ends next Thursday.
