The Ministry of Natural Resources is trying to find who left gill nets in Lake Nipissing for quite a while last month. The unattended nets were in the Great Manitou Island area from June 7th to the 23rd. Conservation Officers with the MNR pulled the nets which were littered with dead, decomposing fish. The nets had no markers on them to identify their owner. The MNR wants anyone with information on this illegal activity to call it at 1-877-TIPS MNR.
