It hasn’t taken West Nipissing long to find someone to be lead coordinator of the International Plowing Match. The municipality will host the huge event in 2019 and Catherine Levac-Lafond will be in charge of the overall coordination. Levac-Lafond has been with CANO the last while, most recently as the group’s artistic director. She’s a graduate of Laurentian University in the public communication and psychology departments. Levac-Lafond officially becomes the IPM lead coordinator locally on October 30th.
