The Ontario NDP don’t buy the Liberal claim that consumers don’t understand their hydro bills and that’s why they’re spending money to clear up any confusion. NDP leader Andrea Horwath says consumers understand their bills all too well and saying they don’t understand them is an insult. The New Democrats have taken the Liberals to task for spending $5.5 million on hydro ads. The NDP claim the only reason the Liberals are doing this is to counter the negative media coverage they’re getting over high hydro bills.
