Councillors from West Nipissing hope to meet with two cabinet ministers during the Association of Municipalities of Ontario conference. Council wants to discuss health and energy costs. On power, it wants the province to have a say in how electricity rises. Also council recently passed a resolution where municipalities should be able to buy their power from other provinces. Council is expected to run the idea by the energy minister. The conference is in London, Ontario this year during mid August.
