We’re getting close to the start of hunting season and area police departments are reminding hunters about some safety rules. Hunters have to wear hunter orange clothing from the waist up. Also don’t drive with a loaded rifle and don’t shoot from the vehicle. Police suggest telling someone where you’re hunting so police know where to start looking in case you’re late getting back and are lost. If you do get lost, try to stay rested, hydrated and nourished.
