A Cobalt man has been found guilty of dumping sewage from his RV while the vehicle was parked illegally in an area near Haileybury. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry told the man to move the vehicle to an appropriate camping spot because it was at a boat launching access point. The man moved, but not before he dumped the sewage from his R-V holding tank onto the parking area. The man was fined $1,050 for two offenses. He got hit with a $750 fine for dumping material on public land and $300 for disobeying a notice. The incident took place last month.
