The West Nipissing Lynx kicked off their 2nd season with a win and loss at the Sturgeon Falls Arena over the weekend. A packed house helped cheer on the Lynx to a season opening 3-2 win over Almaguin on Friday night. The Lynx were then doubled by the new Ville-Marie Pirates 6-3 on Saturday in a penalty-filled affair. The locals hit the road this Friday to face South Muskoka before returning home to play host to New Tecumseh on Saturday night.
