Sturgeon Falls is upping their power. The town’s hydroelectric plant is getting two of their turbines replaced with newer models. The old turbines date back to the 1920’s. The expansion will make 1-million dollars for the town, and will up the energy production from 7 to 9 megawatts. This is comparable to powering 2-thousand more households.
