Changes are coming to rental hall fees in West Nipissing. Mayor Joanne Savage says new in the agreements are daytime rentals for things like baby showers or funeral events. Savage says the day-time rate of $113 will be a lot lower than nightly rentals mostly because the halls don’t get heavy use during days. Another change is introducing cancellation fees. Savage says while the rates for the halls in Noelville, Cache Bay and Verner remain unchanged, there is one exception and that’s if groups want to use the kitchens in these buildings. All the changes take place next January 1st.
