North Bay police arrest two men after woman defrauded of $32,000

A North Bay woman using a dating website to meet someone has been defrauded of $32,000.   However North Bay police have charged two men connected with the incident.  Police say the victim met a man online earlier this year and soon after he began asking her for money.  The man claimed he was out of the country.  The woman started sending money to the man and it wasn`t long before the transfers amounted to 32 G`s.   Police have charged two men from Edmonton in their mid-20s with fraud over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.  North Bay police left for Edmonton on Tuesday of this week to arrest both men in addition to charging them.
