The war on the opioid crisis is getting support from Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas. The NDP health critic is siding with doctors and nurses who want the Ontario Liberals to declare an opioid emergency. Gelinas says too many people have died across Ontario from opioid overdoses. She says the Liberals have to give healthcare professionals the necessary resources to fight the crisis. She adds any delays on the government’s part are not acceptable.
