St. Charles can improve its waste-water monitoring thanks to grants from the provincial and federal governments. The total cost of the project is $22,500. Marc Serre, the MP for Nickel Belt, says the federal government will cover half the cost. The town and provincial government will split the remaining cost 50-50. Serre came bearing another gift for the community. Serre says St. Charles is getting almost $78,000 from the Gas Tax Fund.
