To say the OPP communications centre in North Bay gets a lot of calls is an understatement. The centre deals with emergency calls from the Northeast and sends out the appropriate response teams. The centre has now received its 10th millionth call for service. The OPP says although hitting that number is a milestone, it’s the daily work by the dispatchers who take the calls for help that matter.
